Explorer Society Expeditions are immersive, small-group field experiences designed for members who want to go beyond watching investigations — and actually take part in them.
This is not a tour, retreat, or fan event. It’s a hands-on expedition into the field, guided by experienced researchers and explorers, where participants hike, observe, investigate, and engage directly in the search for answers.
You’re not just observing — you’re participating. Explorer Society Expeditions are designed to put you in the field with experienced leaders, where you’ll hike, explore, and actively take part in the investigation.

Primate anthropologist • Explorer • Expedition leader
Join Mireya in the field as she leads the expedition with the same curiosity, discipline, and investigative mindset she brings to her work as a scientist and explorer. This is a rare chance to hike, observe, and take part in an expedition alongside her — not from the sidelines.

Outdoorsman • Investigator • Expedition leader
Russ brings deep field experience and a grounded approach to exploration. Expect practical guidance, sharp instincts, and real-time leadership as the group hikes, investigates, and works through the expedition together — day and night.

Experienced outdoor guides • Bigfoot research • Licensed & insured
Scott & Sheila bring nearly a decade of experience in Bigfoot research and are in their fourth season guiding expeditions in the North Georgia mountains. They’re seasoned outdoor guides and fly-fishing experts, with over 20 years in law enforcement — adding a level-headed, investigative approach to the experience.
